The next generation’s commitment to affordable housing extends beyond Ulster County. Students from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute‘s Habitat for Humanity club traveled from the Capital Region to the Bromley Road build site in Saugerties on Oct. 12 to assist with deck construction.
The RPI club partners with multiple Habitat affiliates across New York, combining hands-on construction work with fundraising efforts. The student volunteers bring both skills and energy to build sites while learning firsthand about affordable homeownership’s community impact.
