For some people, Homeward Bound is where the journey to buying a home officially begins! Acceptance into Homeward Bound means that you have adequately established a need for a Habitat Home and have shown your willingness to partner throughout the application process.
However, there are aspects of your financial health that could affect your ability to pay a mortgage long-term. The Homeward Bound program is designed to address those aspects of your finances so you can experience the benefits of financial literacy and qualify for an affordable mortgage.
Our Homeward Bound program provides a path to homeownership for those who do not immediately meet the criteria for homeownership at this time.
Homeward Bound is by invitation only, the first step on your journey to buying a home is to express your interest.
