On Saturday, February 28 we hosted a pop-up event at the ReStore to celebrate Ulster County Habitat for Humanity turning 30! The energy was just right for a sunny, almost-spring day — and the goodwill in that room was absolutely contagious.
A huge shout out to our incredible volunteers who baked, greeted, and made every person who walked through the door feel welcome. And a very special thank you to the talented Kevin Kobasic — volunteer builder, renowned animator, and genuinely generous human — whose live caricatures were an absolute hit. Kevin donated his time AND his tips to Ulster Habitat. That is the spirit of this community right there.
We loved getting to talk with so many of you about volunteering and our newest builds. Here’s to 30 more years of building homes, community, and hope!
